Super Crush Maggot Fishmeal is one of Sonubaits' most popular groundbaits. Recognizing the unmatched fish-catching ability of maggots, we sought to harness this in the form of a groundbait. Made with the flavor of the blue bottle fly, from which maggots originate, Maggot Fishmeal features a unique blend of crushed pellets, fishmeal, breadcrumb, meat extracts, and cereals. This versatile groundbait is ideal for all species of coarse fish, including carp, F1’s, bream, tench, and roach.
Mixing Guidelines
Maggot Fishmeal is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket. Fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait, and mix thoroughly. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. For best results, remove any lumps and create an even consistency by passing the groundbait through a riddle. It is then ready to use.
When fishing in the sun and wind, the groundbait may dry out a little. To combat this, cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel, or if it does dry out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
