Match Method Mix is a specially formulated groundbait designed for modern match anglers, particularly those who favor fishing with a flat bed Method Feeder in commercial match fisheries. It is made with high-quality crushed pellets and fishmeals, ensuring that it stays on the feeder during the cast, water impact, and descent. Once it reaches the bottom, it quickly breaks down, attracting fish and keeping them in the area without overfeeding. Mixing Guidelines:
1. Prepare Groundbait: Pour the entire 2kg bag into a round mixing bucket.
2. Add Water: Fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water and pour it over the groundbait.
3. Mix Thoroughly: Stir the groundbait and water mixture thoroughly.
4. Rest: Let it sit for 30 minutes to allow the water to be fully absorbed.
5. Refine Consistency: Pass the groundbait through a riddle to eliminate lumps and create an even texture.
Tips:
Prevent Drying: On windy or sunny days, cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel to maintain its consistency.
Rehydrate: If the groundbait dries out, simply add a bit more water and mix again.
