Key Features:
Colour: Golden yellow, which is traditional for attracting bream and skimmers. This colour stands out on most lake beds, drawing shoals of bream.
Ingredients: Made from crushed fish pellets, fishmeal, and corn-based ingredients, all proven to be effective for bream. The crushed particles are larger, staying on the bottom as bream sift through the groundbait. This keeps the shoal feeding longer and creates competition, increasing your chances of catching them. The larger, heavier particles also help maintain the feeding area.
Mixing Guidelines:
Bream Feeder is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket. Fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait, and mix thoroughly. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes to let the water be absorbed. For best results, remove any lumps and achieve an even consistency by passing the groundbait through a riddle. It is then ready to use.
Mixing Variations:
Light and Fluffy: For close-in work with a cage feeder, mix the groundbait quite dry by adding around 1½ pints of water to a 2kg bag.
Firm Mix: For use with a cage feeder, bullet feeder, Method Feeder, or for balling in on the pole or waggler, mix with 2 pints of water per 2kg bag.
Extra Attraction: Add Bream Feeder Liquid Flavour to the mix for enhanced appeal.
When fishing in the sun and wind, the groundbait may dry out. To combat this, cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel, or if it does dry out, add a little more water and mix again.
