The Spike S spinning reels by Abu Garcia is a range of reliable, high quality spinning reels specifically designed for perch and zander fishing. They are strong and rigid, very smooth in rotation and equipped with a smooth and waterproof carbon drag system. All reels in the range are equipped with shallow spools, which is ideal for spooling thin braided lines. Available from size 2000S (ideal for light spinning and jigging for perch) all the way up to 4000SH for zander fishing on big rivers and canals. The 2500 and 3000 size reels are the versatile sizes in the range. Available in 5.2:1 and 6.2:1 (H) gear ratios.
